For You

edgewise, firm hands
slip and score
run the length of scared delicacy
she’s swallowing moments
just to drink you in.
curving back
to hold the hemorrhaging
soul break,
let the stars lap against these feet
heaven’s shores,
not so far,
chill dark,
looming evidence
of ethereal encounters.
do not forget to look
past smoke screen curtains,
where she will lie for you,
open chest
heart pound,
beat thump,
touch her tangible love on
pewter platter placed,
she is so yours today,
and she may not move for to moan
white fingers keep you so close.
her last song was a lullaby
to the fireflies
flickering their eternal flames
relight extinguished hope
in silver green eyes,
she’s waiting,
just beyond your doorway
tying ribbons on memories,
yet to be discovered.
you’ll rock her yet,
in motions of moon pulled waves,
tug o war on aortic strings.
pluck melodies so sweet,
they stick to your teeth
when you smile
you can taste their sugar.
and shes not running avenues anymore,
not playing pinball games
in local arcades.
her shoes are tied,
she’ll bloom before your eyes
lily blossom
lily blossom
